Domains.

Vibe-coding allows everyone, especially non-coders, to suddenly make really nice websites, apps, and bring just about any idea to life. These creators won't really care about the infrastructure behind their apps, but they definitely understand the importance of having a good domain.

It may be too early to show in the numbers, but if everyone starts creating things online, not just on existing social channels but on their own independent platforms, could that mean the market for domains is going to go up?

I was wondering about this and came across an article suggesting that domain companies on the stock market are actually seeing a bump. However, I can't really see any meaningful increase in domain sales themselves, apart from the 4.5% YoY growth in Q3 of 2025.

It may be too early to say for sure, but I think there could be something to betting on domain registrations going up, and perhaps the cost of domains increasing along with them. That might be a fun little gamble on the stock market, though it would certainly be sad for domain-buying addicts like us if prices do rise.
